Poptropica Friends To Be Launched Soon

Just two weeks back, the Poptropica Blog had dropped hints about some kind of friend system that was soon to come. The friend system was finally unveiled on Friday, April 6th.

This is how the friend system works:

2 Ways to Add Friends

1. Add your friends by just clicking on them and choosing the Friend option. However, this option can be accessed only in the case of Multiplayer Rooms.

2. Simply enter the player’s user name as a friend, and that user will automatically be added to your friend list!

What to Do With Friends?

You can show off your Costumes. All members will be provided access to one costume closet that lets them keep 30 different costumes

You can even share your own Game Photos. As you play through different Islands, you will receive photos that mark/record your achievements during the game.

You can view your friends’ Personality Profiles

What is a Personality Profile?

You need to answer questions regarding your personality everyday when you log in to Poptropica. Based on your answers, some information will be updated to your own Personality Profile. Then your friends can view your page and know the things you like. As you answer new questions everyday, new information will be perpetually updated to your respective Personality Profile.

No official release date has been announced for Poptropica Friends, but it is expected to be launched during April. It may be released along with the new Twisted Thicket Island.
